Vintage ultra rare atelier fur hat by Designer Anita Pineault. This mid century hat was well stored and cared for over its 60 + year life. The outer fur and leather band is in pristine condition. The lining is intact with some minor colour fading In the early 1960s, Anita Pineault founded her own atelier, after designing for the Nadel hat company. Her hats were sold in Canada, the United States and Europe. Her designs could be found in many prestigious department stores, notably Saks Fifth Avenue in New York and Eaton’s and Morgan’s in Montreal. Anita Pineault's label is known for details and quality finishing.
