Vintage walnut shaped nutcracker is either silver plate or. Coated aluminum, , I am unsure. It really is a nice decorative piece and everyone has gone for it while sitting on the counter. It also cracks all sorts of nuts and unlike other nutcrackers, it has a double set of teeth. Please check pictures over, it is used slightly and shows some wear on bottom of open shell. I think it would be a great gift for people who love cracking their nuts but lack the strength in their hands to push the nut cracker togeather. It is also a great conversation piece.
