Stunning vintage wooden marquetry mosaic abalone, mother of pearl, and shell curio / jewelry box.
Beautiful handcrafted intricate inlaid designs and patterns.
Notice the very tiny checkerboards! Truly Amazing!
Lined with red velvet.
Measures approximately 6 1/2” long x 4 1/4” wide x 2 1/4” high.
Only one tiny blemish, one small piece of abalone is partially removed, please see photo #8, other than that one, there are no missing pieces.

I have one almost identical, but hexagon shape. I bought it in Jordan, but I think they are made in Egypt. Just for your info! I also have end tables and platters. Amazing work.

@sophieseashells I would say this is marquetry, not inlay. More cost effective, and just as beautiful. I love my end tables. Bought in Jordan. Used to see them sold at the international Centre at the Toronto CNE. Nicer when one has been to the place. Petra was incredible.
