Vintage Asian Textile/Tapestry

This deserves such a great description, yet I can find NO information or similar items online. This scarf/tapestry/fabric/textile is tightly woven dark-navy cotton that is hemmed on the long sides and raw, but not unravelling on the short sides. It has a depiction of a sword wielding warrior saving a woman from a large predatory bird/eagle/hawk. Some sort of more primitive printing technique, perhaps batik, given the imperfections and the way the colour seeps through creating a mirror image on the opposing side with the only difference being the small detailed white dots/pointillism barely showing up on the back. Both sides are shown in photography. It measures approx 17.5" x 41" Truly a unique and special piece.
