Vintage Red Velvet Cocktail Midi Dress

The best kind of cocktail dress, sychadellic 70's textured rich red velvet, that can really go anywhere. The original dress was floor length with a scoop decollete & cap sleeves. The cap sleeve structure was one size smaller than the body of the dress which resulted in a weird fit. As you can see I have it in black and knew the upcycle would include reworking the neckline into square, removal of the sleeve and hemming to a more usable length. My upgrade includes a satin stretch inner bust shaper as well. Tagged size 14, bodycon measurements are; Bust 43" max... might squeeze 44" Waist 33-34" Hip 45-46" Length from shoulder 53" The waist & hip have more room than the bust, the top end of these measurements will still be comfortable.
