DETAILS - Jehane Benoit (1904 - 1987) was a Cordon Bleu and Sorbonne-trained chef, but she was best known as the cheerful cook who taught Canadian home cooks how to make delicious food. - "The Canadiana Cookbook" highlights how different geographical regions and the intermingling of different cultures, plus simple ingredients cooked with care, has led to the success of Canadian cuisine. - Madame Benoit provides traditional recipes from across Canada, divided by the country's provinces and territories (as of 1970). - approximate measurements: 9.5" H x 6.5" W x 1" D CONDITION Overall, good preowned condition.
