❤Vtg 90s❤ Snug Industries unisex nylon cargo pants, XL, EUC, RARE!

Snug Industries took the Toronto streetwear scene by storm during the mid 90s rave era, and I just happened to live kitty corner from their 1st Toronto retail store. I scored these amazing cargo pants in 1995. These pants are truly a wonder - enormous & functional pockets all over, super heavy duty nylon construction, velcro closures AND heavy duty zippers in all the right places. Including legs that zip off to make Bermuda shorts - the zippers are so excellent that you can do the shorts conversion either way while wearing them. These pants traveled with me to Senegal in 97 and Guinea in 2000 & again in 2001, and they were indispensable. Plenty of secure and large pockets to stash money, ID, even cameras, very sturdy belt loops & key clip - you can even stash the pant legs in the cargo pockets if it's hot out. And they dry really fast. They fit great, very high-waisted (14" rise), while still being functionally a unisex pant, and did I mention how cool they look? I can't even tell you how many times people offered to buy these pants right off my ass. Snug Industries is still making clothing here in Toronto, but just hoodies, tshirts & hats mostly. These epic & virtually indestructible pants were no longer available after 2000 - I went back to their factory in 2001 hoping to score another pair but they were no more. Maybe one day they'll bring back some of their old designs, we can only hope.
