Vtg Artesania Rinconada Lion Ceramic Figurine - Hand-Crafted in Uruguay 1970s

March 23, 2024 Vintage cute ceramic lion figurine was designed by artists Jesus and Javier Carbajales of Uruguay, hand-crafted and signed by the artisan on the bottom. The Carbajales brothers created the company "Artesania Rinconada" through which they sold many different kinds of earthenware animal figurines. This version of a lion (they had several different ones) is sand-colored with blue glazed eyes brown nose, and white ears, tail, and toenails. It probably dates to the 1970s.
