Here's a historically interesting pendant!
It's a mid-century (I think!) faux one cent gold-tinted coin from "East Africa", commemorating when that part of the world was a part of the British Empire.
The coin is marked 1930, and has a handmade, handcarved wooden elephant attached as a dangle charm.
Really amazing pendant. Perfect condition.
Matilde's ancestors were shipped by, and abandoned by the British Mandate in the 30s.

@businesswitch LOL. Was hoping it was a joke. Anyway, even the device used to make that comment is thanks to colonization. Colonization is hundreds of years of cultural learning exchange resulting in innovation and progress. It's far from negative, if you actually think about it.
