Vtg British Colony East Africa Souvenir Pendant

Here's a historically interesting pendant! It's a mid-century (I think!) faux one cent gold-tinted coin from "East Africa", commemorating when that part of the world was a part of the British Empire. The coin is marked 1930, and has a handmade, handcarved wooden elephant attached as a dangle charm. Really amazing pendant. Perfect condition. Matilde's ancestors were shipped by, and abandoned by the British Mandate in the 30s.
