Vtg Carlton Ware Leaf-Shaped Foxglove Plates Yellow, Green & Pink 1938-1950

Vintage Carlton Ware Leaf-Shaped "Foxglove" Plates (2) approximately 9" (large) and 7" (medium) (at widest points) in Yellow, Green & Pink (c. 1938–1950). Handpainted. Stunning leaf-shaped plates in the embossed "Foxglove" pattern. Features a sunny yellow base with green leaves and pink-red foxglove flowers, beautifully hand-painted. Naturalistic curve and veining. Backstamped with black script: “Made in England – Trade Mark Registered – Australian Design Registration Applied For” – indicating export to Australia, circa 1938–1950. A charming and collectible piece of English pottery. Excellent vintage condition commensurate with age. Of note: Very minor/ light crazing (to be expected given age) on base and larger plate a few tiny glaze wear spots on base and medium plate leaf tip has tiny dark spots (see last few photos).
