Vtg Carved Painted Wood Box

Vtg Carved Painted Wood Box I am unsure on exact age and country of origin. I believe it may be of Asian descent due to the label on the bottom but because so much is missing I cannot determine exactly. I am 99% certain this piece is older.... but I am not an expert. 8 6/8" across, 6" deep, 2 7/8" tall. Hinged Box. Solid wood. Good condition- some signs of wear/use but nothing major.
