Vtg. HOLLYWOOD RAZOR CORP "DAISY LADIES' RAZOR" Folds to Size of a Lipstick Tube

This vintage Travel Safety Razor is a Double Edged Daisy Ladies Razor made by the Hollywood Razor Corp. of Hollywood, California. It looks like a lipstick tube when closed -- when opened, the two pieces fit together to form a razor with a handle. When the tube is closed for travel, it measures 1-7/8 inches long x ¾ inch diameter at the base. When it is assembled, it is 2-7/8 inches long, and the razor head is 1 ¼ inch x ½ inch. There is a very sharp Daisy brand double edge Gold Blade installed. The bottom side of the razor head is marked "PAT PEND. H.R. CORP U.S.A." This 1948 relic is in excellent condition, and is 74 years old! Rare and Collectible.
