Vtg Handpainted & Handmade Silk Scarf By: Marilyn Wallace Of Designer Silks

This amazing Vintage handmade/ handpainted silk scarf was made by Canadian Artist Marilyn Wallace from Port Perry Ontario. Unfortunately Marilyn passed away on Dec 31st 2019 at 93 years old. She established "Designer Silks" a business that brought her art to life in silk scarves, ties and other garments worn by people all over the province and abroad! This beautiful silk scarf is just too cute with these cats and kitten that just pop out of the gorgeous greenish teal main colour of this scarf with white rolled-over trim all the way around. Just beautiful & one of a kind. **I haven't washed this scarf and will leave that up to new buyer to do, included in box is original washing instructions for this scarf. This scarf is in very good condition and has been stored in this original box for well over 40 years only taken out a few times. A relative of mine personally knew her and still lives in Port Perry today.
