Back in the day most Discmans and some Walkmans didn't come with a radio and were a little big to carry in your pocket. This unit allowed you to keep those in your bag or backpack and use the small handheld pocket radio to adjust volume. Tested as fully functional. Volume dial has some static when turning, but settles once adjusted. In very good cosmetic condition all around. Original owner, was used in a soft padded pouch when not boxed.
