Vtg Sterling Silver Roden Small Floral Engraved Beaded Edge Plate 6”D / 80g Vintage sterling silver Roden brothers small floral engraved design plate with beaded edge. Stamped and hallmarked on bottom “ Roden Bros Sterling 925 “ Age of plate falls somewhere between 1910 & 1953, as the hallmark on bottom was used between this period. Plate measures approx 6” diameter & weighs approx 80 grams History on the maker: Roden Silver Company was founded on June 1, 1891 in Toronto by Thomas and Frank Roden. In the 1910s the firm became known as Roden Bros. Ltd. ( the hallmark seen on this specific plate) and were later taken over by Henry Birks and Sons in 1953.
