These slippers are a hoot! Known as Boudoir shoes or House shoes, these probably date back to the 1950’s or 60’s. Made by a well known Canadian Brand, these TENDER TOOTSIES slippers are made of a black satin-like material and adorned with a fur pouf! I believe the fur is real, based on the feel and look of it, but I cannot confirm. They are a lady’s Size 7. They are in very good vintage condition with very few signs of wear, although the satin of the footbed feels “sandy”. Perhaps someone wore them to the beach, or maybe the inside lining is shedding a bit. In any case, they are a fun piece of historical fashion!
