Vtg mid-century carving set stainless steel knives fork Bakelite handles case

A beautiful mid-century carving set. Circa 1960s. "The Connoisseurs Choice" series. A great gift idea for newlyweds, engaged couples or new homeowners who appreciate vintage housewares. BRAND Glo Hill, made in Canada DETAILS - three-piece set with one carving knife, one serrated knife and one serving fork - made of stainless steel - the fork has a prong that can be extended to rest the cutlery on a serving plate - handles are Bakelite with a two-tone faux wood appearance - the set comes with its original box, which has a textured surface and a golden polyester bed where the cutlery rests APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS Pointed-edge carving knife: 12" Serving fork: 9.5" Serrated carving knife: 13.75" CONDITION Overall, very good vintage condition. The exterior has some signs of wear and the interior polyester has a small rip. The set itself is gently worn and has minor imperfections -- a small chip on one fork tine and some scratches on the knife blades. Please see the photos.
