There are no words to describe this stunning piece. It features the traditional Chinese golden dragon with an elaborate colourful bird. The body is a black satin silk with exceptional elaborate multi coloured embroidery on front but mostly on the back as well as the sleeves.Lined is a lightweight silk. There is a self belt but also looks great loose and open. There are fewer and fewer artisans today even in China and India who gave the skill or time to accomplish this level of hand work. Most of the current embroidery is machine made. For this reason alone it is important to preserve what is becoming a lost art. There are so many ways to style this piece.
