W9 Patagonia trail shoes

Sturdy, high stability trail runners with great foot protection, Vibram soles and good lugs for traction on tough terrain. While described as trail runners, and there is enough flex in the forefoot to run, they are not your “fast and light” type runners (the ones which feel like road or gym shoes). They are solid and durable, more like some hiking shoes than most trail runners. Accidentally kicking a rock, or someone stepping on your heel en route, for example, won’t be such a problem in these. So, while they could be great hiking shoes you decide… depends what you need the shoes for:) Some water resistance from the odd splash or slight shower (see label) but not at the expense of breathability. They are not waterproof. Good used condition, not perfect but pretty darned good. Have wiped them down with a wet cloth a couple of times and washed the insoles (no toe dents in those!). Label says US W9 and I believe they are true to size - I usually take W8.5 and have had enough of having to wear mountaineering socks because they’re a bit too big.
