luvsmink @rad2474him .....you are correct; I'm a spiritual person ( do not practice any particular religion), but that morning, I had an out of body experience and saw the Angels, my life running like a movie, the bright light, watched the accident from above my car; and more importantly, had a CONVERSATION with the big guy in charge. I begged to stay, as I still at that time had a 16 yr old son who had lost his father to a heart attack the month prior to the date of my accident. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. All I ask of anyone is not Sympathy; I just ask that you PLEASE DO NOT TEXT WHILE DRIVNG. The driver of the semi admitted to texting. ❤️❤️❤️

You go off the road, and well..... You know. So scary nowadays how people don't pay attention to the road!! fifig23 Suanne you are such a courageous woman and you are certainly a fine example of how to live a full and genuine life. You have a beautiful family, and now you have a new family here on Posh! This is a fabulous community of smart, kind, compassionate woman who stick up for each other, listen to each other, embrace each other and help one another. fifig23 Oh I'm so glad Suanne. And I have to tell you, my dad had a stroke when he was 50 , at the top of his practice as an Surgeon, and had 5 children under 18. He has been in a wheelchair ever since. He was a larger than life Dad, very active, loved to golf, boat, swim and play with all us kids. It was beyond devastating to all of us, and my dad tried not to show to all of us kids who much it affected him. He put on a very brave face. To make a long story short, my parents divorced 12 years later, my dad had to move to an assisted living facility. It was heartbreaking. Fast Forward two years, he met a remarkable woman, they married, he moved out of the assisted living facility into her posh condo, and they are SO SO happy. He has been in a wheel chair since he was 50, but he has a new lease on life. We, his children, and my mom, are beyond grateful every single day. It's amazing what can happen.

I know the stress and time constraints they put you under; it's pathetic. In my case, the young man was doing something stupid; texting. I do have to forgive him, and give credit where it's due; he probably saved my life by pulling me out of my car. A lot would have never stopped or looked back, so I know he's a good person. Things happen for a reason, and my accident has renewed my Faith, and brought our family closer together. Again, thank you for reaching out to me......💐💐💐

I love these evening it long dresses, but im mostly bedridden tho changes sometimes. I could wear it on my 30th anniversary if I'm still married by then. sad, But true. grace4d Well that's a long story. I have had trouble with joints & hips, neck, back since my early 20's (even age 14 in gymnastics). I really thought it wasn't a big deal bc it would come & go. Obv It got worse and by my early 30's, I knew it was bad. Now, after over 20 years of chronic pain nearly all over, then intermittent vertigo, auto accident here & there (3) and all the Dr's who didn't believe me, I'm here in bed. I actually thought I was going nuts or they thought I was. Tall & skinny, looking for meds, I guess! Who knows? I went to over 40 Dr's in that time (bad huh?. It took a very sweet family Dr to take a simple bone density scan & xray then mri and there ya go. By then I'd lost over 3" in height all in my torso n neck). this is genetic. I've been off n on bedridden since 2001. My boy was born in 2005 near Christmas tho they said he wouldn't make it. He's fine. I have degenerative disc & bone disorder but its the vertigo (now permanent since 2003) that really messes me up. It's not ear vertigo unfortunately.. The nerve is pressed on somewhere between ear & neck or in the spine, we think..I'm sick all the time, it's like I'm in a hurricane or something. I don't sleep at all & when I go I soon my dreams.. I'm going to have neck surgery in may (I hope) that may relieve it. I have no guarantees but I can hope right. I think I have "high risk" on my forehead or something, lol. It's hard, true, but I have a son, age 9 who is my joy & life on earth. I thank GOD for that miracle. Thank u. Take care ok?

grace4d And I forgot to mention blurred vision intermittent blindness do I'm for typos. I meant I spin in my dreams when I go sleep. I lose weight, gain it, lose & gain. luvsmink @grace4d ......have them check C4/C5 and C5/C6. With the gymnastics, you may have hurt your neck accidentally. There could be pinching of the spinal cord which would cause the vertigo. I had it too, before my neck surgery. My spinal cord was being pinched in half. The vertigo was from lack of oxygen, and pressure on the spinal cord. Take care, my friend.....you will make it. ❤️

The same thing happened to my Father in 2007, he was hit by a semi in bumper to bumper traffic at 75 MPH!! It left him with no feeling on his entire left side of his body. My family lovingly says I'm a "weeble". Remember from the 70-80's.....WEEBLES WOBBLE, BUT THEY DONT FALL DOWN"....LOL

poshgarden Your nickname lol! I remember 👍🏼 Yay on your progress 😘 I moved 2 hours out of town 11 years ago to help a friend that had his L2 fractured in an accident. After an 18 hour surgery and incredible PT and OT, he now walks with a slight limp due to nerve damage. Plus, he wouldn't keep his boots on, grrr. Life can change in an instant, I have to remind myself to be very thankful for the smallest things 🍀

I woke up from my last surgery and my surgeon came to my room and i was up walking. I have always refused to lay around and let putty set in. I usually don't see him til the next morning so when he came thru the door I was so excited to show him what a wonderful job he did again.

heavensparadise @luvsmink He said I need you to sit down. I have something to tell u. I heard about the complications he had during my surgery. I have become one of his most difficult. He said I was in the top 3 of his worst. He said he wasn't sure if he would allow me to return to work. I was floored to hear this because 6 hrs earlier he said I'll have you back to work in two to four weeks. I had to find a new purpose besides being here for my family and friends.

Two weeks ago we found out that my sister has liver cancer and she has a daughter who has cerebral palsy. I had my world life dumped upside down again. I now stay with them to make sure they are not alone I can't do a whole lot for them but I can make sure they eat right and get there meds correctly.

I added stephanotis (sp?) , baby roses, and tons of vines and greenery. It was close to 24" wide !! Definitely the focal point of the front. My dress was plain in front, and very intricate in back. I looked like Cleopatra....LOL

I have been thru 4 to many back surgeries because a drunk driver rear ended me and fled the scene. I have had u in my prayers even while on vacation and I have been worried. I met a lady on the cruise who had several back surgeries and a neuro stimulator implanted to help the pain. I have been refusing to have one implanted and I am glad I have!

heavensparadise @luvsmink That's weird because I have two tens units. It helps great with my muscle spasms but not with the nerve pain. I understand the you not wanting a implanted stimulator. I feel the same way. I have met so many patients that have them. They are usually still in pain. If I am gonna still be in pain it's not worth. I never even considered the cost. I've spent enough on the back surgeries !! Just know when u get the results you are tough.

This allows you to purchase merchandise directly from the manufacturer, wholesaler, etc, which makes your "cost of goods" much lower than buying at a store. Plus all your merchandise is then brand new, never worn, and you set the price.

luvsmink @marcie0707 ......my unit is a hospital version of a tens unit, and I also have a hospital grade H-wave. The H-wave was more expensive and requires closer supervision bc it uses the high frequency waves. It will literally burn your skin. I use both units to the max, and get no relief bc I have so much nerve damage. My MRI doc just called to talk to me about the tests, and my interpretation was correct; I have two small bone tumors that have developed on my lumbar spine

Overstimulation of the nrerves can either overexcite or numb them. We have a place here called The Laser Spine Institute. The use laser surgery for various spinal nerve related injuries. heavensparadise @luvsmink I try to stay positive and keep going. I have days where I'm flat on my back and days that I feel good. I really thought my life as it was would end after my back surgeries. I thank god it has not a bad as I feared. I do have to change my ways of doing things. As long as I don't lift over 10 lbs bend or twist at my waist. I feel pretty good. Just like they thought you'd never walk again and you proved them wrong. That takes so much courage. You are so sweet and that's such a blessing.

As for "boutique", YES, I buy my inventory directly from a wholesale vendor; actually I use several depending upon the item and pricing offered. You just need to apply to your State for a retail license, and you can do the same.

heavensparadise @luvsmink We are safe and dry here in north Texas. My son two best friends run his two distributorships with are in Victoria and yes Rockport where Harvey came in at. They were able to pack everything into there two box trucks a flee to San Antonio where my son lives and goes to college at.

My husband was sent to Houston to help restock the stores with Little Debbie. Yes we are a little Debbie family. My husband works as A District Sales Rep and my son has two distributorships. He use to have three until he decided to return to college to become a surgeon.

heavensparadise @luvsmink My son is exhausted because during all of this my father in law almost died during back surgery. They gave him two transfusions to get his BP up. His 2-3 hour surgery took 6 hours. He was in ICU for a week and hospital another 5 days. Sent to rehab and he gave up his rehab bed for a victim of Harvey who needed it more.

heavensparadise @luvsmink He was to sick to eat and when the home health nurse came out. She rushed him back to the ER. The triage nurse rushed him to ICU for testing. His BP was very low again. The next morning when he had exploratory surgery they found his gallbladder ruptured and he had started developing gang green. He's finally back in rehab and doing so much better. It has been a horrible month.

He had to work in Houston and travel back and forth between Houston and San Antonio to try to be there with his mom and Dad during his dad's nightmare. Thank god they figured out what was wrong.

luvsmink @danielleverno ... I spent the past 7 months exercising and moving in a warm water therapy pool. I can now walk independently of my cane for about 20-25 minutes, and every day, just gets better. I still will have a few setbacks, and often overdo things to the point of pain; but I'm beating all odds that were given to me by my physicians, and we all rejoice in that victory.!!

I feel absolutely blessed to have financial and time freedom, something I never could have achieved in corp america, where the ppl at the top couldn't care less about my life. Loren and JR genuinely care about people and I have found my passion helping others.

amoreperlamoda Hi. I read something you wrote about your accident and I’m so very sorry! Similar to you, I was driving to work in 9/15 on the TPK when I was rear-ended by a tractor trailer driving 70 mph. The driver claimed he never saw me! I was hit so badly the impact knocked me unconscious and I was taken out of my vehicle in a spine brace. I have permanent spine and nerve damage, fibromyalgia, PTSD, Thyroid problems and Cardiology problems. I’m in my 40’s, permanently disabled & lost my ability to drive.
