This is a group of 7 silverplate commemorative spoons from the 1881 Rogers A1 WWI “Generals & Admirals” series, produced in the U.S. during and shortly after the First World War (c.1915–1920s).
Each spoon features a portrait of a celebrated WWI leader or admiral, framed with decorative motifs. Rogers released these spoons as collectibles during the war years, and today they are sought after by both silverplate and militaria collectors.
