WWII Canadian RCAF Cap Badge Brooch

This vintage piece of history is a metal badge from WWII for the RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force). This piece was originally a cap badge and would have had a removable pin to attach the badge to a hat, but it has been replaced with a modern locking c pin closure so it can be worn on clothing. There are some areas with tone loss or tone change from time and wear, but this piece is still in good shape and does not have any rust or verdegris. Dimensions: 45mm x 40mm Weight: 11.23g
