Walter Drohan Art Pottery large plate, blue mountain scene, wide gold rim. VTG

Gorgeous and substantial art pottery plate by reverred Canadian Walter Drohan. Made in 1975 during his tenure at the Alberta College of Art in Canada, where he taught ceramics for many years. Strong blue and white mountain graphics give this stoneware a strong MCM style. The wide gold rim mades a beautiful frame. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks or crazing, just a few tiny scuffs and scratches due to age. It measures approximately: 1425g; 31.5cm/12.4" D x 4cm/1.6" H.
