"Wasco" by Haida Artist Patrick McGuire (1943-1970). McGuire captures the essence of the mythological creature showcasing his talent and ability in both storytelling and carving. This piece of art is carved from argillite found off the northern shores of BC and is in excellent condition. There are signs of wear on the pin that can not be seen when worn or displayed. angelalouise394 @shys23 Do you know Patrick's daughters? I would like this piece to go to them. I think that's where Wasco belongs. I read a while back and one of his daughters talked about how it felt to hold her father's art. She should have it.
