tina_hyndman @cubbiemolly I got an email saying that postmark will send me an offer letter and that someone made a purchase to my jacket. but I see nothing in my orders and no email from psohmark. so I think this is a scam too. it said to deposit funds into my account as well.

cubbiemolly @tina_hyndman yep..they ask for your bank info to deposit money and then empty your bank account! Poshmark would never ask for that info over an email. All sales are done within the app.

cubbiemolly @tina_hyndman Poshmark will send you an email with a Canada post label attached. You mail the item and mark it shipped (under your account). When the item arrives at the purchaser’s home, they will accept your order. After it has been accepted, then Poshmark will release the funds to your balance. You can transfer your balance to your bank. This is all done within the app. If the person doesn’t accept within 5 days, you automatically get your funds added to your balance.

tina_hyndman @cubbiemolly ok but what if the buyer receives the item but saids he didn't then i don't get paid. does that ever happen. then I lose on the sale and item or does the item get return.

cubbiemolly @tina_hyndman Poshmark are pretty good about that. If Canada post said it was delivered, they will either side with the seller or side with both the seller and buyer…so it is rare you will lose out due to that. Poshmark are pretty good at protecting you and the buyer. It’s why we pay them fees!

cubbiemolly @tina_hyndman I just use any cardboard box I have around. The labels do up to 5kg. I rarely ever have to pay extra. I have a lot of dr martens that I’ve sold and they are heavy but didn’t have to pay extra. Only once paid extra when I sold 2 pairs of dr martens together.

cubbiemolly @tina_hyndman they can only contact Poshmark for a return if the item was not as described. By that, I mean things like size. If they were advertised as an 8 and are labelled a 9. This has nothing to do with how they fit, it is what they are labelled as.

cubbiemolly @tina_hyndman Or if there is significant damage that was not disclosed in the ad. They have to prove all that with pictures. You already have proof of item in pictures in the ad. It doesn’t happen often and sometimes Poshmark eats the loss and pays you and the buyer. People know they are taking a “fit” risk buying on this platform.

cubbiemolly @tina_hyndman people often makes bundles to save items or to hope that the seller offers them a deal. It is not binding and anyone can still buy the item. I have stuff in bundles I never bought and they sold to others ages ago. You can ignore it or offer them a cheaper price. Up o you.
