acelestialsoul @thejanismarie Great. Thanks. Live shows have destroyed the look and feel of the site and many of us (long-time veteran Poshers) have had next to no sales since they started last October. They’ve taken their Posh love, shares and money to purchase with them. Now all that’s shopping on Poshmark are low-end garage sale buyers. Poshfest schedule promises more of the same. Bummer.

thejanismarie @acelestialsoul Yes, unfortunately. I was selling boutique bags for years, having fun…my hobby. Posh shows and over saturated market of my same bags, made it a losing game for me. It wasn’t fun anymore and making $5 wasn’t profit. I had a ten year run, went to many Poshfest, modeled last year at a young age of 65 and my run is over. I have the one dress left and I’ll keep,it on here. It’s on Google search, maybe sell one day.

acelestialsoul @thejanismarie I’m a FT seller. Store owner & power seller since 2004 on E b a y. A 5 - year PM Vet w/3,500 sales. Live shows have driven Poshmark’s price point to garage sale levels. Lives attract cheap, bottom-feeder buyers that want to pay peanuts. PM Live show hosts are paying a 20% selling fee on top of slashing prices to sell in 1-minute auctions. Naver (PM Korean owner) is the only winner. Even $2.95 min. On cheap $3-5 sales x tons of sales is still great for them. Bad business for us.

thejanismarie @acelestialsoul I had a good friend start an auction today $3 on all items. 10 people. She literally gave away her stuff. The hassle of packing it up is not worth it. It would have been easier to bag it up and donate. Just my opinion. Good luck with your continued success. It is definitely not the posh we started with.

acelestialsoul @thejanismarie I’m sorry to hear your friend lost $. Many trying them make peanuts. 20% fee / $2.95 while starting low $ isn’t smart business for sellers. Lives that make lots of sales are doing pallet openings, selling lululemon items & luxury bags. (They’re devaluing great brands to take low auction prices though) lives are a rip off for most of us. Bidders are getting scammed by newbie Posher’s, as well. PM isn’t regulating them at all.🥴
