Hi lovey! I love your closet! 💋. I have a photo tip for you regarding jewelry. When taking photos of gold, silver and jeweled items, use a dark background. Light backgrounds swallow the light and the eye isn’t drawn to the item and the sparkle in the jewels 💎 doesn’t show as well. Use the back of a dark dress. ❤️😘💋. You have beautiful things.

Yes, I had an 18” Italian 14K Solid Yellow Gold Rope Chain, which is why I bought the Cameo. It is such an ornate Cameo that I really loved and the Gold Chain matches the gold color perfectly, it is a Stunning Piece Of Jewelry. Love & Peace Carol

@derinda that's always the tricky part... if the tiger stone is real... the green should be also.. (jade ?) and without a signature or mark it's tough... I wouldn't go lower... if you can determine the green stone maybe a little higher would be OK...

@fashion_rewind_ I've seen that bold "ladder" link chain before in my research... top company, but can't remember who... maybe a watch chain or pendant watch (??) I don't think it's common... I'd have it really checked by a jeweler (helps to make friends with an honest pawn store owner) heavy 14k overlay will read as 14k.. have you checked the back of the photos... in those days they always put notes (dates) on the back..

She applied to George Washington, Georgetown and American University and was accepted to all. She ended up choosing American -- down to the wire on the choice. American was ranked #3 nationally for her Masters Program (plus they gave her the most scholarship $) and she loved it when she visited. My dream growing up was to go to Georgetown -- I never made it! I love the group!!! I can't wait til she gets out of grad school so I can spend $ on some vintage/estate jewelry.

She still has her apartment up in Tallahassee -- that she uses to get away from me! Going to just pack that up and move her from there to simplify it. She is so excited to get out of FL! She will have a grand time.. so much History in DC... sounds like my x-wife... she worked for the GAO and spent 4 days a month in DC... went with her half the time. Her agency was going to pay for a MS at Georgetown before she was injured on the job and had to retire...

@bandjinc It was a long term plan... (mostly mapped out) we we to transfer to DC, she would work part time and do her MS then her agency wanted to transfer her to the office in Germany... Murphy's law stepped in and had other plans... she had already filed all the transfer paperwork when she was riding an elevator that malfunctioned... very bad day

I lost my home in my beautiful hometown several years ago. I used to work right next to Brooks in the 60s at the Montessori school as teachers aid

hi, someone referred me to your group along with a compliment so I am flattered. then I noticed you went to Brooks Institute in the 70s! Santa Barbara was my hometown for 60 years and I miss it dearly.
