mommysmeltdown Congratulations! Are you illustrating it too? I'm so loving this! I've always wanted to write Children's Books, and I'm a Mom of 3 so I have plenty of topics to tackle! I attended Art School for a little while, but Life throws a Lemon at your face (and that stupid AFLAC Duck is never hanging around my house when I need cash or food money!) I have to figure it out for myself, no talking wildlife to speak of!

mommysmeltdown @brypask I hear stories about being rejected from every publisher applied too. I understand that anyone can type something on their laptop, and submit it,and that some people think they're gifted literary geniuses. But a good story is a good story... Our Town Library has 1 room, and the Librarian is a Angel! If you get an opportunity to travel & read your book, I would love for you come to ours!! We're in Western, MA.

brypask @mommysmeltdown absolutely it was tough with the publishers too because upfront they all wanted $10,000 and I am still a grad student, so I couldn’t afford that right now. I decided to go the self publishing route and used my posh mark earnings to pay for it by myself! I would love to come to your library and read my book!! What is the name of the library? I can email them now and ask if they would like me to come in and read! I’m in CT so that’s an easy trip in for me🤗
