karik77 @iriesmi that's what I thought I've done hair for 16 yrs n have been gettin my nails done bout the same length of time and I don't like my polish runnin off at the tips from shampooing and the chemicals and they charge so much more at the nail shop for this service I can get the colors cuz I get into the prof. Beauty supply store so I figure WTH buy one it's cheaper but I'm wondering what I need to take it off or will they have to do it with the drill when I get a fill ?!

iriesmi @karik77 are gel nails and gel nail polish the same thing?.. Because I've seen the ladies at the salon use this uv light to dry the polish..not the actual acrylic. There are these new gel polishes that are so effective and lasting. They last 2-3 weeks even with constant hand washing. I was surprised to see mine last upto 3 weeks and I believe u soak nails in acetone for a bit, then peel of almost sticker-like.

karik77 @@iriesmi gel and acrylic are just different types of chemicals they mix to make the nail hard but yes the polish I bought is like a gel polish that does last for weeks it's awesome
