jodisjewelry One place to find a lot of great info is @official_forum. Also @queenmumm has a lot of tips throughout her closet and she writes the funniest blog. It kinda goes more into detail about why certain things are not supported items. Be sure to keep in touch and I will try to think of tips... My mind goes blank when I think too hard. Lol

jodisjewelry That's wonderful. I love to paint, but paint doesn't love me. I finally started doing those paint by numbers... Don't laugh, lol... some of those are really intricate. Thomas Kinkade even has a lot of those kinds of kits. But I figured I should stick with making jewelry, that's about as far as my artistic side goes. 😀

jodisjewelry Thanks so much. We have a lot in common... I used to be an aerobics instructor, bodybuilder, personal trainer, and was training for a triathlon when this kid, yakking on he phone, almost killed me with his big truck and lead foot.

jodisjewelry Blew out my whole back, too much damage for surgery, all lower discs are ruptured and torn, it even stretched the ligaments holding up all my pelvic organs so I've had 2 surgeries to repair those. I now have a spinal cord stimulator implanted in my back to help control the pain. Did the surgery help u?

jodisjewelry I started making jewelry after my last surgery in 2012, just taught myself everything with a lot I bought, started with kids jewelry and friendship bracelets and expanded from there.

lilgil2483 @jodisjewelry I am fused from T5 to T11 and then had to have a second surgery from T11 to L2 as I fractured T11. I am going to possibly need another surgery to expand the fusion to S1 as they found more issues. Ugh! Does the stimulator help you at all?

lilgil2483 @jodisjewelry the surgery did help stabilize the spine but the pain is still horrid. That's why I enjoy Poshing to keep my mind off of the medical issues. Thank you all for the warm welcome💜

jodisjewelry Oh, the stimulator was a life saver! I was on the fentanyl patch 150 mcg and changed every 47 hrs, 4 perc a day, 4 soma per day, I slept from 2007 til 2011! I seriously have very little recollection of anything during those years. I met a woman on a cruise, we did a transatlantic and then the Mediterranean, it was like a month long cruise, and this woman had one and she told me about it

jodisjewelry My dr kept saying my pain was too high to get any relief but I kept asking and kept asking til one day I just said I don't care, I want to try it! I went down to fentanyl 50 mcg, and there are a lot of days when I don't even take break thru meds, and when I do, I take a lot less of them.

jodisjewelry You should ask your de about a trial, it made such a difference in me. It doesn't work on all kinds of pain, but if yours is from an injury, I read that it works better on that type of pain than like just arthritis.

jodisjewelry Oh honey, I know what you mean. I still have days, but they are so much fewer now. Before the surgery, one day I was crawling through the house on my hands n knees. Hubby was like what in the world are you doing now. I said I can't stand up and I have to get back to bed, only way to get there is to crawl. He picked me up n carried me, but that was the kind of pain I lived with. I can't say enough about the difference this stimulator has made.
