apache726 @gretta970 I forgot to mention that he's a cancer survivor. He was very aggressively treated for a squamous cell carcinoma on his eyelid a few years ago. We ended up having to enucleate the eye in order to save him and he's been cancer free ever since. This is why he wears a fly mask 24/7, to keep him safe!

gretta970 @apache726 OMG! I love that Apache the cancer survivors to see those paints they get that cancer. One of my friends is been fighting it for a couple years with her Painthorse. Cancer sucks. apache726 @gretta970 Has your friend tried Cisplatin beads? Apache has the best vets in Kansas City, between his regular vet, Wilhite & Frees Equine Hospital & Keil Veterinary Opthalmology, they saved his life. And the Cisplatin beads really helped. They were implanted in the eyelid at first treatment and again when his Eur was removed. I hope your friend's Paint kicks cancer's butt!!! 🐎💟💜💙💖

gretta970 @apache726 oh thanks sis for telling me about those beads. I talked to my friend about them and she is going to ask our vet. She has the same cancer that Apache has but it is on her lip and nose. She said to say thanks. So cool that u told me about that. Happy Monday sis. I hope u had a great weekend. 💖💕💖😇💖😇

apache726 @gretta970 You're welcome! Please let me know what she finds out. I know that they really worked. They are a time released radiation bead. He got 6 each time they were implanted. And make sure your friend keeps an ear abs long nose fly mask on her baby 24/7 to keep him safe. ☺

gretta970 @apache726 morning sis. I will let you know what she finds out. My uncle had something like those beads prostate cancer and he really survive that well. We have that big huge hospital here it's a teaching hospital veterinarian and I know she's had that horse over there I'm surprised they didn't suggest that treatment. She keeps up horse covered up with a fly mask. The 🌞🌞🌞 sun is so brutal here in Colorado. Thanks sis for caring so much. 😘😘😘😘 have a great day.

apache726 @gretta970 Good morning! I'm surprised that a teaching vet hospital said nothing about Cisplatin beads. They really helped for my baby so i hope she can get them for her girl! I know that they need to be implanted by someone that knows how to do it, but that shouldn't be hard to find at any large animal vet or teaching hospital. I understand about the sun. Kansas City is just as bad! Please keep me updated and have a great day!

Sorry didn't get back to yesterday I was I don't think I did anyway I don't even know what I'm doing anymore I'm so busy and my job. apache726 @gretta970 Good morning! We had some storms last night and lost power while we were working on my car. We're getting it ready for Classic Car Day at the K tomorrow for the Royals vs Twins game. So we finished by flashlight and power came back on about 1:00 this morning. At least the Royals win last night's game at 2:15 this morning!!! ☺ I don't get to ride too much in the summer because after June it's always over 90° every day. We ride more in the fall and spring. Hope your day is awesome!
