The audio soundtrack for the film When Harry Met Sally... (1989) is a modern take on classic American standards, primarily performed by Harry Connick Jr.
Musical Style: It features jazzy, traditional pop arrangements of Great American Songbook classics, perfectly capturing the romantic and nostalgic mood of the film.
Key Tracks: The most notable song is the signature tune, "It Had to Be You" (featured with both vocals and as an instrumental trio). Other standards include "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off," "Don't Get Around Much Anymore," "Autumn in New York," and "Where or When."
Impact: The soundtrack was a massive success, earning double-platinum status and launching Connick's mainstream career. He won his first Grammy Award for Best Jazz Male Vocal Performance for his work on the album.
CD very good pre-owned condition.
CD Grading:
I will describe any significant damage to booklets or inserts, should there be any.
I visually grade the disc as: Excellent- Like new, minuscule imperfections. Very Good- Minor scratches and or scuffs.
All discs are tested to ensure error free listening.
Jewel cases come as is. They may have some scratches and scuffs. I do replace cases with broken tabs or cracks, or if they look like someone took a sander or a nail to them. I replace inner trays that have defective disc retention clips.
