Whiting and Davis vintage 1940s gold metallic mesh clutch

This one is really special. A Whiting and Davis gold chain mail mesh metallic purse. This style and version is believed to be from the 1940s. It has a little interior pocket with the original mirror, and a typed out name card from the original owner. She used a typewriter, and this little name card has sat in the pocket for about 80 years. 🥹 She also added a little safety pin, which I have kept. There are so many stories in this beautiful bag. Give it a second life. ❤️ Measures approx 4.5" x 7" In wonderful vintage condition. A slight bit of wear to a few of the gold pieces in the mesh, but minimal.
