A Royal Tyrrell Museum original Mosasaur Stuffed Animal.  Known as the T. rex of the seas, mosasaurs were big and powerful swimmers. This stuffed animal’s tail is based on the latest scientific research and has a vertical, instead of a horizontal, tail fluke. They were the dominant marine predators during the last 20 million years before the K-Pg extinction event 66 million years ago.
