This is peak late-90s Canadian outdoor style: a WindRiver “Outfitting Co.” sherpa fleece built to look like a hand-knit Fair Isle sweater. Thick, textured, and warm — the kind of fleece you saw at every ski hill, fishing lodge, and Tim Hortons parking lot in 1998.
The pattern is a full woven-look geometric and snowflake design in heathered grey and deep burgundy, with that unmistakable sherpa pile texture WindRiver used before the 2000s brand redesign. Button-front with a relaxed fit and a wide collar, exactly how these were cut in the era.
Condition is excellent for its age: no holes, no matting, no major wear. Soft, clean, and ready for another 25 winters. If you’re into cabin-core, Y2K outdoors, or just real Canadian heritage fleece, this is the right one.
Tagged Large. Clean, no damage, and the pile is still full and even.
