Women brand new denim skirt

Just bought this new denim skirt from garage but it’s too big on me. Can’t return it because I’m not close to a mall so would have to make a trip. Never been worn and tags are still on. With tax I paid about $49 for this item. Xs but first big. I’m a size 0/2 and its big on me
