nikkivanmels Hi there! Is the faux fur removable from the hood?

greeej2 @nikkivanmels the hood detaches by button from the jacket itself, but the fur does not detect from the hood, so the jacket can be washed without the hood

greeej2 @anghelitaaw @anghelitaaw I wore with a sweater and no issues . Has great length also for warmth this coat has down . I googled and ai response …. Alpinetek jackets are generally designed for Extreme Cold Weather, often featuring duck down or synthetic fills for significant warmth, making them suitable for skiing, hiking, and serious winter conditions, though they lack a single standardized temperature rating,

greeej2
greeej2 @anghelitaaw relying on fill power (like down) and insulation weight (grams) to indicate warmth. Expect good warmth for temperatures below 10°C (50°F) and even down to -20°C for heavy down models, but check the specific jacket's fill power (e.g., 550+ down) or grams for precise heat.
