I remember when this skirt was originally sold at the Gap when it came out in 2004. Unfortunately, I was in my 20s and didn't have enough money to buy it at the time, but back in the early 2000s (before online shopping was a big thing and I was restricted to what came through the mall) I pined for items from the GAP, if you can believe it!
As you can see, it's in beautiful condition considering its age - spotlessly clean inside and out with a beautiful lining - it might not have been worn. The top half of the skirt fits like a pencil skirt and the wool on the lower half is cut on the bias so that the skirt has a bit of a flare as one moves. Its very cute, very typical of Y2K fashion of that era - fun and feminine! Although, the camel colour is understated and practical, making it easy to create outfits with black, white, cream, brown, burgundy and navy blue tops.
