Women's Vintage IRA BERG 100% Wool Pleated Wide-Leg Pull-On Pants, Medium

In 1937, Ira Berg opened his first store on Yonge Street. In 1953, his son Russel took over and expanded the business, quickly establishing the Berg name in the Canadian fashion world. The store carried brands such as Akris, Byblos, Claude Montana, Versace, Bottega Veneta, Prada, Tod’s, and Brunello Cucinelli. They also opened North America’s first standalone location for Paris-based designer Celine (1976), and was the launch partner of Louis Vuitton in Canada, opening stores in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal (1986 -1995). With a history as rich as this, it is no surprise that these Ira berg label 100% virgin wool women's pants are beautifully made. Featuring soft pleats, a wide leg and pull-on design. Wide, elasticized waistband. Hand wash or dry clean. Approximate measurements (laid flat): 15" waist 13" rise 28.5" inseam 11" leg opening These pants are in very good condition, considering their age! There are one or two pulls (see pictures) but no holes, rips or odors.
