Looks Like Nubuck suede but these boots are constructed with all man-made materials by Vionic. They are sturdy boots with a thick sole and deep grooves that can handle walking through snowy streets without a problem. A thick lining of wool-like material adds warmth. The zippers are large, strong and durable. I have never worn these boots because they are too large for me. They are US size 5.5.

jessver123 Do you know if they're water resistant or waterproof? also, do you have a pic of the size on the boot? I'm a 36 so not sure if that is a US 5.5 or US 6 in this brand.

augusta6133 @jessver123 Hi Jessica. Thank you for your interest in these boots. I have never worn them outside in the winter but I am sure they are water proof. When I splashed water on them, it beaded and slid off. Regarding the size, I have examined the boots and I can't see size information. It was probably on the box that I no longer have. The best I can do is to give you the measurements of the sole. The length is 10 inches; the width is 3 - 3/4 inches at the widest part. Jacqueline
