Womens dress spats, antique, English Boxcloth, circa 1914-1920

This is a pair of WWI era dress boot spats in khaki or grayish-tan wool with leather straps and edge and seam binding. Buckles work. WW I era(1914-20) approximately. 12.5cm height strap 15cm length 10cm across top 4 button detail with leather straps and metal buckle MANUFACTURER: All I could find was a leather embossed tag that stated English Box Cloth (see label in photos) . There is a number 6 marked on one of the insides, as well as the numbers 280. I couldn't find any other markings. CONDITION: a few wear marks in wool, all buttons present, strap leather is a little stiff with mild cracking, worn, buckles are stiff. I didn't detect any odor.
