Wood Puzzle Trinket Jewellery Box with Lacquered Top The Lost Playmate

This is a beautiful wooden puzzle jewellery box with a lacquered top. The base of the box is beautifully finished wood with not a nail in sight. The top of the box shows the painting "The Lost Playmate" by Gustave Henry Mosler (1916) finished in lacquer. The interior of the box is a red felted material. The box slides together easily and the puzzle box locks with a single camouflaged piece. On the back of the lid is written information about the painting shown on the front. This piece measures approximately 5 1/2 inches long by 3 3/4 inches wide by 2 1/4 inches high. This jewelry box is in very good preowned condition. It does have some wear and marks as would be expected from age and use.
