Wooden Marquetry Lacquered Mosaic Wood Inlay Matchbox Holder

What a unique piece. This is a wooden Marquetry Lacquered Wood Inlay Matchbox. This square decorative box measures about 3 5/8 inches square and holds four individual match boxes that pull out from each side. Each individual match box measures about 2 x 1 /2 inches. The piece has part of label on the bottom which indicates it came from Granada, Spain. This matchbox is preowned and does have some issues to be aware of. Three of the individual boxes are missing their ribbon pull tabs and there is a bit of residue on the top (perhaps from a sticker). It doesn't wash off easily and I didn't want to risk damaging the design to try a stronger cleaner. Note: Matches are not included
