Wooden Plaque of Man -Hand Carved Quebecois Art

A hand carved wooden plaque of an older man smoking a pipe made in Quebec in Saint Jean Port Joli in 1975, a village famed for its wood carvers. The signed artist is Janine Bourjouli who was a registered artist in Port Joli. In French the back has written in pen "a souvenir of Yvon LaCasse, given to Yvon LaCasse, July 1975" so it was probably a gift to a close family member. The plaque is 13" tall by 9 3/4" wide and 3/4" deep.
