Wooden folk art rooster, 10 inch hand carved painted country farmhouse decor

This pretty folk art rooster appears to be hand carved and painted in a colorful pattern. The only mark on the base is "DC26". Likely vintage. There are some chips to the wood along the base and the bottom edge of the tail feathers. Please see photos.
