Vintage Woodpecker Wood Ware wooden door knocker has a hollow in the back piece, so knocker resembles a woodpecker's sound when used. Front has a hand painted design of a rooster. Made in Japan. Has a hole on the back for hanging/mounting. Approx. 6 1/4" long x 4 1/2" wide x 1 1/4" thick. Good pre-owned condition, glaze/varnish has some crazing lines from age.
