Wrangler jeans size 34/32 full length light/medium wash distressed 100% cotton

Light/medium wash, 100% cotton wrangler jeans with a straight leg. Ribcage high rise (12”), tagged size 34 but fit like a 33, I think. See measurements below to ensure fit. Bought to make Jean shorts but they don’t fit me in the waist. Slight distressing pictured - would be fine as is but would make really awesome cutoff shorts!
