"Eternity" Meditation zen stone. Privacy Stone handcrafted by Seller in Canada Hand wrapped granite river rock with natural rattan which represents eternity. Great as a Valentine, wedding or anniversary gift Using the traditional rock wrapping and knotting technique, I wrapped this Canadian granite river rock with a continuous piece of thick natural rattan, no glue used. Rattan symbolizes tenacity and eternity. Though time consuming and rough on the fingers, I have found rock wrapping to be calming and meditative. This is inspired by the Japanese wrapped rock which can be found in shrines or in front of a garden. It is a stone or rock tied with a black rope and it means "hold your step" or a polite way of saying "do not enter". So I call it a "privacy stone" where you can place it in a room where you want to preserve your own space, your privacy, your little haven. You can use it for meditation, as a paper weight or even a door stopper. Measurement: approximately 4 inches long (5 inches including the twig), 3inches wide, 2 inches in height Due to differences in screen settings, colors may differ between photos and the physical product. Also, the piece will look slightly different in color under different lighting.
