rideauwood I've added the hip measurement at the bottom of the pocket: they're approx 26", measured about 9.25" down from the waistband. They are light weight linen, not gauze. And yes, they've been through the dryer in accordance with bryn Walker care instructions. I use a low heat dryer for all but the most delicate of my linens. What I don't use is an iron. Instead, I hang garments up and mist them with water, shake out the wrinkles and let them hang to dry.
