Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme Collection: Autumn/Winter 1989-1990 Composition: Presumed Wool (100%) A unique archival hat from Yohji Yamamoto’s Autumn/Winter 1989-1990 Pour Homme collection. Presumed to be wool felt and featuring an embroidered band with a red-orange, white, and black geometric pattern with a hand-stiched inner leather hat band, a sign of quality indicating a high level of craftsmanship often found in vintage and luxury hats. This design appeared in the runway show (see photo), and can also be identified and dated by the specific curvature in the signature on the label. The hat is in excellent used condition, retaining its original shape and vibrancy. Based on the interior circumference of 23 ¼” (59 cm), this hat is approximately a US size 7 ⅜, UK size 7 ¼, and EU size 59, making it potentially suitable for those who wear up to a Large in men’s hats.
